Why did
Cisco create the 360 program? |

|
Cisco
listened to managers, training coordinators, and candidates who
complained that after spending many dollars on training, the fail
rate of candidates taking the CCIE exam remained extremely high.
All wanted a complete program authorized by Cisco that allowed them
to gain the knowledge needed and evaluate readiness before scheduling
the lab. This coupled with the ever growing need for expert engineers
who understand the technologies and know how to use Cisco equipment
to develop networks that meet the complex needs of today’s
business led Cisco to take action.
Cisco
beta tested the blended learning program with hundreds of engineers.
This blended learning approach combines a training methodology,
on-line training (Classes on Demand), self study products including
a technical library and practice workbook, along with traditional
instructor led training and most importantly graded assessment throughout
the program.
The
Cisco 360 Learning Program is the end product of over two years
of work and provides users the ability to become an expert engineer
and validate that expert status by passing the CCIE lab.
